Our Story
Building on Long Island since 1999
Fine Finish Construction is a single-owner general contractor based on Broadway in Massapequa. Since 1999 we've helped Long Island homeowners make the most of the house they already love: dormers and second-floor additions, rear and side extensions, and complete whole-home renovations. With a full in-house architectural design team and expediting services, we handle the entire project, from the first sketch and the permit to the final walkthrough.
We believe the places people live shape how they work, relax, and connect, and that a home should evolve with the people in it. Every project is built around collaboration, transparency, and craftsmanship that stands up to daily life.
Meet the Team
One owner, one team, and trades who've worked together for years
Fine Finish is a single-owner company. Owner Vinny DeLetto meets with homeowners, designs solutions with our in-house architectural team, and stays reachable from the first estimate to the final walkthrough. Our office, led by April, keeps the paperwork, permits, and schedule moving. And our plumbers, electricians, and painters have worked with Vinny for years, which is why our customers say the jobs run smoothly.

Why Choose Us
The Fine Finish difference
- In-house architectural design team
Plans, drawings, and engineering come from our own design team, so your addition is designed by the same company that builds it. No hand-offs, no finger-pointing.
- We handle permits and expediting
Town permits are the slowest part of most additions. Our expediting services take the paperwork and the back-and-forth with the building department off your plate.
- Licensed in Nassau, Suffolk & NYC. Fully insured.
Properly licensed in every county we work in and fully insured, so your home and your investment are protected from day one.
- Building on Long Island since 1999
More than 25 years of dormers, extensions, and second stories, with a crew of trades and subcontractors who have worked with our owner for years.
- Free estimates with itemized quotes
We walk the property, listen to your goals, and come back with a detailed, itemized quote, so you know exactly what you're paying for.
